MaizeSequence 4a.53 — October 2009
The new release includes several major updates to the site and to the underlying data.
Sequence and Annotations
- Maize Golden Path (AGP) v1. The first draft of the maize genome sequence assembly. Developed by Wing and Wei et al of Arizona Genomics Institute and released on March 20, 2009.
- New and updated BAC clones. The BAC freeze includes 16,007 clones, 1,094 of which are new or updated since Data Freeze 3 (Release 3b.50).
- Collaborator Data. We have integrated various external data sets into the browser. A listing of the collaborators and their data is available.
